So I'm getting ready to try another main line grow. Picked up some TGA Subcool Jinxproof beans that I'm hoping to start germinating tonight. Anyone had any luck with Go Time, Hurkle, Tap Out, or this tester Strawberry Diesel x Space Dude? Doing my homework to see which two I wanna run at the...

Looking good. Any reason you didn't use tomato cages? Just curious. At this point I would only trim leaves if absolutely necessary. Try tucking your larger fan leaves that may be blocking colas or lower growth sites. Remember, your plants are no longer focusing on growing leaves, only...

Bro, if you look back at this thread to my final dried and cured weight, you will see that with the right attention, conditions, and nutrients... combined with the right strain, there is no disappointment from me. I harvested over 1 gram per watt in a 4x4x7 space, running a 400 w mh for veg...

A lot of growers will take all fan leaves 24-48 hours before chop to make trimming easier. At that time photosynthesis doesn't matter if you're going dark for 24-48 hours before you start cutting plants down.

I only took fan leaves once a few days before flipping to 12/12. I started flushing with RO only 15 days before chop. By the time chop happened, I was naturally losing 5-8 fan leaves per day per plant. They virtually self trimmed themselves and I might have taken a few still-green fan leaves...

This is how I hung them and I did a dry trim 7 days after. RH was 53-54% and temps ranged between 70-72°. Once RH went to 50% around day 7, I trimmed and began the curing process. One of the girls was hairy as shit, she is so dense inside though. She took me to another planet last night lol!

Great pix. No pix of my antlers as I cut my colas down 2 per cut so I could hang them. They're Cold Creek Kush and Sour Diesel. Not sure if I posted this or not.

432.18 grams off 4 plants @ 400 watts. Not bad, almost hit the 1 pound mark! Next time I'm going to see what a scrog yields vs. mainlining while trying to keep my other variables as close to this grow as possible.

Mainlining works wonders! These were just 2 of 28+ similar colas. Hands were too busy and sticky for more photos! I'm taking the summer off cause of temps. This will get me through till autumn, that's all I needed. :bigjoint::clap::weed:

Mo, I'm @ 9 weeks on Saturday, you think I should go into week 10 of flower? Breeder says 63 - 68 days. My calyxes are so fat, but I have pistils that haven't completely fallen off. Almost all the pistils are much darker now with a smaller percentage of them being light.

You'll always have various stages of pistils which is why that's not the best judge of ripeness. If your strain has a short flower time and you're starting to see amber, you can chop anytime now. Just don't wait too long.

I was at day 52 in that post. My strain has a 9-10 week flower period. So I'm reassessing the situation at day 63 and will either chop or go to 70 days if necessary. It sucks waiting when you have such beautiful buds , but the reward will be worth it.

I'm just waiting for that 5-10% amber stage to chop my plants. So close I can hardly wait.

I chop based on trichome color. Clear = too soon Milky = head high Milky w/ 5-10% amber = head/body high 15 - 25%+ amber = couch lock
