    Chloramine

Are you smoking your house plants that you water everyday? It might not kill you, and I don't think medical science is advanced enough to know all the effects that it can cause down the line. Look at how many drugs have been approved "safe" by the FDA only to find out 5 years later that it...

    Chloramine

I'm not saying Ed's wrong, he's an awesome grower. However, he lacks true scientific method, as most growers do due to it being an illegal plant. Not as much good research is done in controlled environments, you see growers trying shit all the time and saying it works great, but the next...

    Far too tall

They usually stop stretching after 40% of their flowering time has passed. You should be about to the end of the stretch phase. You can tie em, bend em, whatever you gotta do to make them fit, hell I've seen people lay their plant horizontal. Look up LST, low stress training, you can actually...

    Chloramine

I think it builds up over time, even a little probably kills some of the good bugs in your soil. They say it doesn't harm plants, but how many of your house plants are you watering every other day. Plus it's part of their propaganda to say it's not bad for you.

    Help a newb please

Nope, that government has sensors placed in the ground that can immediately detect when a marijuana seed is planted. They can pinpoint the exact location though triangulation down to about 10 feet, from there it's a foot search which I'm sure it wouldn't be very hard to spot a 10' plant.

    How much 300w@120v pull amps?

Google is your friend............ Electrical (electric) power equation: Power P = I × V = R × I2 = V2 ⁄ R where power P is in watts, voltage V is in volts and current I is in amperes (DC). If there is AC, look also at the power factor PF = cos φ and φ = power factor angle...

    Home Depot Item Alert

Yeah I forgot to state the size, but it's the same for them all, free air cfm is about half of what it says on the box. I don't think these would be ideal for push or pull by themselves, look at the distance between the fan blade and the side of the tube.

    Home Depot Item Alert

If you look at the specs for that inline fan they are only 40 cfm free air and 80 cfm "boosted". I used one along with 2 pc fans running at 18V, I'm probably over 150 cfm.

    Dry ice for CO2?

I think it evaporates/sublimes to fast to be cost effective. However, if you work at a place that makes or uses dry ice you could take a little piece home everyday and use it.

how do i connect 120volt items in 240 outlet?

gt, seeing as you know next to nothing of electricity and can't shut the breaker off, please have a friend stand near you while you wire this so he can kick you away when you get electrocuted. Might wanna have an ambulance on standby also. Getting shocked by 240 is no joke, it can break bones...

    rapid rooters vs rockwool

I want to try out a hempy bucket, which is best to start in for one of those. I've used jiffy pellets/peat pucks before, actually, I just seen my local home depot is starting to carry them already this year, I can get 72 jiffies for $2.00. Beats my local garden store price of $0.12. Or is it...

    how do i wire a co2 sensor!!??

That would be awesome if you could test it. If you check out the wikipedia page on ozone, they show the formula where one ozone molecule (o3) combines with 2 carbon atoms to make 1 co2 and 2 o2. Best of both, plants get extra co2 and I get extra oxygen, I don't know how much ozone would be...

    how do i wire a co2 sensor!!??

You should be able to puchase a regulator at most hardware stores, any place that would sell welding stuff like a home depot. I currently use the sugar/yeast mixture to generate co2. I use 2 1 gallon containers for my room, about 250 cubic feet of space, not sure what the ppm increase is but I...

    how do i wire a co2 sensor!!??

Yup, it's better to be safe than sorry, especially with electrical. I did a google search and I seen a few transformers that would work for you, just pick one that is rated over the max for your device, go for like 3 amps or so to be safe.

    how do i wire a co2 sensor!!??

Actually, I just looked at the product page for your device, it's pretty sweet, I wish I could afford one. Anyway, It says max average power is 1.75A and 2.75 max, you will end up overheating and eventually burning up that transformer. But, it will also take 18-42 VDC as well as AC. So you...

    how do i wire a co2 sensor!!??

I was thinking you could get something like this that plugs right into the wall: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2049695 But seeing as you already have that and cut the cord, might as well wire it up to your co2 sensor. Use the black and white and hook those to the power...
