I've never tried denatured alcohol, I just know you can get a 16oz bottle of 90+% iso for like 99 cents and it lasts forever, it is what is recommended for cleaning electronics in the industry, and it evaporates crazy fast. Denatured probably works perfectly well for our purposes, whatever...
