    How difficult is hydro?

Am going to go out on a limb here and guess that he ties them down to the main stalk with a lose slip knot so you can adjust it as the stalk gets thicker.

    How difficult is hydro?

I'd like to say that these are all good points from everyone here and some good debating, this is what's good about these forums. To the thread starter I hope you are taking all this info in lol

    How difficult is hydro?

I have done LST and topping FIM super cropping all have their benefits for sure, even canopy, all that, but you can still do exceedingly well even with a Christmas tree type girl. Genetics play a big role as well.

    How difficult is hydro?

I see what your saying here but then this is now the difference between personal preference and time vs mass output. ofcourse having the extra room for mothers is a plus and not everyone has that luxury, so whatever works for someone may not work for others.

whats the deal with nute feeding charts???

Agreed ... When they are in a very hot climate they drink ALLOT! causing excessive salt build up in the media over a given time period, eventually leading to a lockout down the road or deficiency or even toxicity.

whats the deal with nute feeding charts???

A good example You feed a plant and its receiving 800 ppm when humidity is high 60%-80% and its growing wonderful no burn or any deficiency Vs You feed a plant and its receiving the same ppm "800" but the humidity is very low or none at all and thus the plant will drink more quickly and that...

    How difficult is hydro?

You guys are making it all complicated I am simply stating the obvious for the thread starter because he's interested in trying hydro and I am just stating some points to consider vs the other. We already know this, perhaps he doesn't or very little, that's all ... And honestly, who uses seeds...

    How difficult is hydro?

What I am saying is that a rooted clone beginning the vegetative period in DWC for 5 weeks will outgrow a seed that has sprouted in soil. Even clones in soiless, DWC will outgrow that too. I have done soil and soiless before lots and with seeds and clones ... Nothing comes close to hydro. This...

    How difficult is hydro?

In 5 weeks hydro clones can be bigger and more mature then soil grown plants that could take the equivalent of 3-4 months to equal hydro and even then they can't flower as big or be as thick ect the branching and all that fun stuff lol, it's worth the hassle, trust me. Mind you there are...

Yellowing the 1st 2 days of flowering

Soil potted plants usually require vegging nutrients for the first two weeks before switching to flowering nutrients or they can yellow too early but usually it's not till later on like week 2 or 3 that these symptoms creep in, by then allot of big fan leaves fall off or just yellow up and it...

White Vodoo Week 5, Day 2

I'd like to point out as well with this grow I have been making wine using 5 gal buckets and with 2 going and 3 1 gal containers and my old 2L co2 canaster. I would say a fair amount of Co2 has been releasing and it seems to be helping. I have the centrifuge exhaust turn off for 30 minutes every...

    How difficult is hydro?

Changing your air stones every 2 grows is a good idea too because they wear out quickly and have less oxygen capabilities and are more prone to bacteria

    CMH vs HPS Lamp Life

Can you get them in higher wattage; I've never heard of this type of bulb and ballast before?

    Electrical outlets shutting down?

Ok so the dryer washer outlet is 230v 30 amp breaker and the stove outlet gives 240v 40 amp breaker, correct? Every other outlet "room" is rated 15 amps on one breaker is this right? This is what my panel shows anyway after reading the breaker switches, so am guessing each ballast uses 7.5...

    Just A Little Showing Off

Looks really nice , lots of hairs on that strain. What's the THC rating; 55-60 day flower period? I have a similar setup except I run 2 1000s, with GH 3 part and Hygrozyme with the odd cal-mag dose, I'll never go back to the GH floro duo nutes though, the 3 part is much more superior for sure IMHO.
