this may be a new idea, but i doubt it

It's called "grafting", I've done it with pecan trees and citrus but not with... hmmm I know cannabis has been successfully grafted with hops though. Let us know how it goes!

There are no 21 amp breakers, a circuit breaker is a safety device intended to interrupt the current path should the circuit become overloaded or shorted. Just because you have a 20A breaker doesn't mean the circuit can handle that much current, someone may have replaced a 15A with a 20A for...

Excellent tutorial Woodsmantoker! Very much appreciate the time & effort involved to share this info! I already employ most of those methods in my grows but wasn't aware some were specific "methods" :) For my limited medical grow a small ScrOG in a cabinet is most efficient but a bit more time...

GH makes good nutes so does Technaflora, Humboldt, Fox Farms, etc. Most any name brand is okay, read the internet reviews for any tips like "mix 1/2 strength" and such. I personally use Technaflora as they seem very consistent batch to batch and I have yet to burn my plants with them. I tend to...

    Leaf discoloration

Well that's my opinion anyway, I usually use a schedule of feed:water:water:feed:etc. and I let mine dry completely between watering (well not now, doing a hydro scrog now but in past grows). It's also important to check your pH, what you put in but also what drains out, I suspect you'll see a...

Looks like a phosphorus deficiency, is your pH out of whack?

I believe it's exhibiting signs of potassium and magnesium deficiency due to pH lockout - from overfeeding, didn't mean to imply they are over fertilized. High soil salinity/pH locking K and binding Mg is common when full strength nutes are fed every water cycle (assumed, first grow). Even well...

Can't figure it out... Please let me know what you think!

Looks like a calcium deficiency, could be due to a pH lockout. Good luck.

Overfeeding. Flush with fresh pH'd water, let dry, repeat. Back off on the nutes 1/4 to 1/2 and keep track of your pH.

Don't know when the new power supply is going to show up, thought I'd get started with this post and not leave you hanging. I don't have the switches and such done, waiting on the supply to hook it all up. The drawings are close, available tools and materials predicated some modification. The...

Usually though it doesn't have to be. I take fresh air from outside the cabinet through the cooltube then out , my room ventilation is separate and vents through a DIY carbon scrubber. Another common approach is to connect the carbon scrubber to one end of the tube inside the room & pull air via...

You can get a fan big enough but it'll be expensive. I used two fans, one for the light (closed system) and one for room exhaust to save a little money. What cfm chart? Calculate your cubic footage, multiply by 5 then add the drop caused by the scrubber and any sharp bends in your ducting (~ 30%...

Heh, I won't show it to you then, it's finished just haven't gotten the pics up. It's not working but it's finished... fried the power supply, too small. Too complicated for you to build anyway! :) Kidding, here are some drawings, have to edit the build pics; make 'em smaller, take out the...

I keep the screen as low as possible and still be able to work/clean under it (about 12"). My preference for a lower screen allows me to fill and flower faster as well as work within the height restrictions of my cabinet. ScroG is all about optimizing within your space/conditions, there was a...

The hoods seem to run a little cooler, I didn't have room in my cabinet (see pic). Either will work, the cooltube is probably a little easier to setup the way you mention carbon filter : light : exhaust but you might have some issues setting it up in that small a space. Sounds good, best of luck.

It looks like a mold, make sure you have good air circulation around your plants, if the humidity is high stop foliar feeding or spray when the lights first come on to allow them to dry. Wash the leaves with a H2O2/water solution then spray lightly with Ed Rosenthal's "Zero Tolerance". Watch it...
