I've noticed that when i turn the lights off my plants leafs start to weep, when i wake up to turn lights back on. they are flush back up looking beautiful, is that normal?

Sorry to disapoint you but that is simply a blind, with a hardwood case specially created to go over the window "its the hardwood that defeats the light" and the exhaust circulation is created with the whole he creates and specialised fans etc.

Okay, thanks mate. One more thing.. you said no nutes for 2weeks, canna's website says start after 1 week and it still doesnt answer my question.

I have a fan which blows down from above, its a strong wind but it isnt doing any harm to the plants they dont appear to be swaying in the wind :P Like i said, im just thinking its because the seed had weighed the top down and one side of the leaves are now bending upwards so it seems there...

Nah the taproot is facing down.. the stem comes up.. then curves down at the top where the leaves come out. so the leaves are upside down. (See Image)

Hi, Not sure if this should be in the newbie section (here) or plant problems. I'm a newbie so i chose the newbie section. Anyways, I'm growing in canna coco medium in 4 litre pots, planted 6 seeds, all 6 germed, 1 was naturally week and died. Problem is the sprouters are facing downwards...

I just wanted to know if the run off system thing would work?

I can't tell, it shows signs of both sexes from what i know "a days worth of experience" so dont take my word from it. it looks more female than male.

If im correct on what you mean by run off, look at the image, would it work? Placing a tray underneath the pot then suspending the pot slightly above the pot so the nutes/mix can fall down through holes into the tray?

Whats a run off? do you mean i want 10% of the mix to fall straight through out of the pot?

Cheers mate, but i'm an idiot and my first to grows went awfully wrong due to looking for cheap local equipment which just failed me. Just to confirm, i'd be using "standard feeding" rather than light or heavy?
