watering job done. thanks to all who contributed with extra kudos to wetdog. hopefully the plants will adjust accordingly. this also made my humidity shoot up which is a good thing since I was averaging 20-30% with the dry soil. will report back with results later.

Is it ok to keep the plants in the container while I do this?

cn, is the idea to leave the cap on for a while and then open it little by little over time once there is humidity buildup?

Yeah Wetdog, your assessment is spot on, I think. I did only water the portion of the soil surrounding the plant. I did not wet the mix, either, do'h. Oh well, here's to being a newb. So the plan is to saturate the entire soil, then. Any other opinions on this before I go through with it?

I got these clones 3 days ago and watered them only a little more than a cup each as soon as I put them in their new mediums. Three days later, the soil is still somewhat moist (as you can see in the picture) and the leaves look a bit droopy. Is this cause for concern and how often/how much...

well, I'm planning on growing more horizontally than vertically with the help of LST and will probably veg for only a month or less so it won't grow as big. @ scroglodyteL: I mentioned they'd be lightproofed. Still no good? any other comments on bins and my lack of vert space?

the exact model of the adapter also, I hooked the fan up to my pc and it gave me the same RPM as with the adapter. what is going on? is it maybe set to run at low RPM by default? I thought speed was determined by voltage (the adapter itself allows you to change volts, 3-12, and was giving me...

120mm case fan (110CFM) the thing is at 100CFM even these fans tend to get pretty loud, I'm not so worried about airflow as much as noise (stealth grow). So basically I'm looking for the least CFM I can get away with to have proper ventilation and maintain noise control.
