I have a 600w hps light,have had it for about 6-8months,it is starting to blacken at the edges,not badly,but you can see it when the light is off,my question is am i better off using this or my brand new 400w???

STOP LOOKING AT YOUR PLANTS WHEN THEY ARE SLEEPING!!!!,when lights are out leave your plants alone,you've no need to check them at lights out,if you keep going in there and disturbing them they will start growing balls!!!! then all your hard word will be wasted

They were the only ones i had in there,and none of the balls had opened,so hopefully there is no contamination

His has already finished.....in fact he's nearly smoked it all lol,i'm taking it as a lesson learned,you can't win them all,good luck with your grow,and thanks for your input

I'll certainly look into it,totally gutted though!!! as they were the only 2 i had on the go,and don't have any more seeds,will still purchase elsewhere in future though

Thats a good idea,but i had that idea earlier,and when i checked out their site it says that they offer no gaurantees on their seeds!!,I've learnt my lesson,i will buy elsewhere in the future

I understand different plants have different flowering times!!,but when do you measure from? when you change the light to 12/12 or from when the flowers actually start to show? cheers

I try to have my lights on during the coldest times,and lights off at the warmest part of the day
