The bulb is not in that box anymore so that lense is negligible. Ill probably remove it so theres more ventilation for the ballast.

So that means both bulbs will be OK? Probably go with HPS, seems like the better choice for flowering, currently veg under cfl's. keep what lense clean?

Got the whole thing for $40, not sure if its any good, came with an HPS and metal halide bulb but apparently I cant use both with the ballast? Looks like it was a street lamp that the blub was re wired to a separate hood. Not sure if this is any good, the only marking is a sticker on the inside...

I have had my 2 plants in flowering for almost 12 weeks, and there are still no buds. There are alot of white hairs, all over, but no signs of buds. I am only using CFL's, and there on 12-12 on/off time. Are these plants messed up, or should I wait it out? I do not know what they are, someone...

I think this one is male, I see no white hairs anywhere on it, and it looks like its making seeds on the top bud. Toss it?

I only vegged for maybe 3 weeks or less, but I am limited on space. I cut off the fan leaves because I thought it was better to get more light to the stem where the male/female parts come from, but maybe I am wrong. Also the fan leaves blocked alot of light to the rest of the plant.

6 CFL's, started flowering a couple weeks ago, but I still cant tell, but they might all be male. Started bending them and lowered the lights when they were more horizontal. Let me know what you think, maybe some tips? Planning on getting splitters tomorrow so I will have 12 CFl's going.

alright, alright!! I changed the set up around a bit, and now I have 4 hanging from a strip plug and two more on the end of an extension cord that I have to figure out how to suspend. But six is way better then one, and it is so bright, I need to wear sunglasses around here!

Picked up a 26 watt cfl, a spiral one, popped it in an old lamp I had sitting around. Dont really have room for more lights, could maybe fit in one more cfl, but is one enough to get any results? its produces 1750 lumens.
