Im in western ny and we've been getting some really shitty weather. Its been cold and rainy for a week and a half now and the slugs are starting to get at my babies. I just tried putting a layer of salt around my pot to kill those bastards. We'll see what happens

Thanks for the help. Do you have to buy the ph reader to be able to test the levels or is there some other way? Also any advice on what could be attacking my plant? I saw a couple slugs on the outside of the pot along with the spider on the plant so im thinking they might be whats causing it...
