I’ve also been dealing with a hot summer her in SoCal! I’ve been freezing large water bottles and putting them in front of my fan, I have a few and keep them in rotation. If it gets to hot I plan on making my own AC from a ice chest like in this video I linked.

So I recently made a micro grow box. I’m using a 7 way splitter with 5k 8.8w FEIT led bulbs, bought from Home Depot. My question is do these little LEDs need to be keep 18in away from you plants as well? Also I want to cut off the “Hood” I feel like its just for show and dimming my lights.
