I am living in Canada, our temperatures get pretty low during winter, been storing my harvest outside in airtight containers this summer, but winter is coming, is there any chance that freezing temperature swings ruin my buds?
the system is kind of perfect for collecting all the run off, I haven's seen anything better than that, all others seems to be such a pain in the ass if you are growing a lot of tiny plants
firstly I was planning to use is as a ebb and flow with hydroton but my seedlings are dying and the system is not ready yet so I got an idea to plant them into coco coir and to use the system to collect the runoff and to recirculate it, cos otherwise it would be such a waste to run DWC with 2l...
I am planning to use simple microtubing for top feed. Pots in a tray is simple but I am building big system for over 100 plants so I love the idea that all the runoff is collected and could be recirculated
I am currently building this system - http://www.homehydrosystems.com/system_plans/Flood%20and%20drain%20system%20plans/6%20plant%202%20liter%20bottle%20system/6%20Plant%20Flood%20&%20Drain%20Hydroponic%20system.html
Have bunch of babies already in seedling stage in root riots, some of them are...
Planning on building this system for indoor grow, is there any way to eliminate the drip from the bottles other then glue :) cos from the link you posted it says - "the dripping will slowly stop after mineral build up" maybe some kind of a tape :D ?
How long did you veg, seed or clone? And did you have like bottle inside of other bottle to be able to move them? If not, how long did it take your plants to fill that 2l bottle with roots to be able to move them around from veg to flower room for example?
I wish I've read you message before buying all the tubes
You think cannabis will clog even 6" pipe? Not sure about o2 starved roots tho, if I'll keep the temps of water under control and have plenty of air stones...
I will, just dont want to end up wasting time and money on a system that will not work for cannabis :(
What do you think about top feeding? Will it add any benefits?
