I'm running a mix of a horizontal cmh and diy cob led. I'm getting pretty good results on a low budget. I already had the citizen cobs from a closet grow when I added the 4x4 tent. The 315 cmh isn't enough for the 4x4 and two would be hot. Until I have time or money to upgrade this works ok...

They look ok but if in doubt, let it dry out. I like to do more of a wet/dry cycle watering when leaves start to droop just a little. Going by weight of the pot seems to be a popular way of judging wet/dry cycle. My guess is more overanalyzing.

I'm using the exhale xl in a 4x4 with a cmh and 209 watt led. I can't tell that it helps or hurts, but It could help before the exhaust turns on to bring in fresh air.

If you have the space both could do nicely together. I've seen an hps 600 and a cmh 315 together, and the overlapped looked best. It wasn't a side by side it was an altogether. I'd go cmh if it was one or the other
