Ended up cutting another 14"x6" in to the other side and turned off the ventilation fan. got temps to 80-83 which should be perfectly fine. Going to wire in some 120mm pc fans instead and see if that disrupts the air flow a bit less than the walmart fan. 2x120mm fans is ample enough air...

The top is about 30 cubic feet, so the 50cfm exhaust should be able to exchange the area almost twice a minute, if my math is right. Wondering if maybe my intake isnt allowing for smooth air flow
