And oh the soil I’m using, It’s soil from vegetables grow bed

Haha this is my first grow. So I might want to keep it short and not turn to a tree in my house haha. I wish to grow indoors for consuming purpose. Is it possible I keep the plant short till it’s ready for harvest?

It’s not legal in my country so it’s not something I can display outside. That’s why I have to plant indoors and yes I’ll try to get a bigger pot and what about fertilizers? Anyway I can make homemade fertilizers anyone?
