Ok I mixed some soil from a pot with distilled water with a ph of 6 and let it sit for an hour then tested it. PH 8.2!!! I just flushed the shit out of my plants and the last water coming out the bottom measured PH 6.8... They are looking like total shit now and I really hope they recover...

Per the advice of a very nice roll it up user... I am testing my soil ph to see if its ph lockout.

Any tips on what could be wrong with them if they arent burned? These things were growing so fast and looking so perfect and in 2 days they are drastically crapier looking. :(

Ok, I tried harder and got some way better pics of them. My tiny ones that are only 3 days old were not hurt at all... so weird.

Info- -Plants are 8 days old from seed. -Watered every 2nd day if dry. Plain water. -Soil medium is 1 part top soil, 1 part "expert gardener perfect mix .10-.08-.06" and about a tablespoon of blood meal. (its all mixed in a rubbermaid tub and used in my small pots I do not mean a tablesppon...

So I should use it anyway?

OK! So I had the lime thing backwards! Whoops! I couldnt think of any other info to post about my soil/ph type stuff. Im not using any nutes yet. Thanks for your help! What can I add to my soil to lower the ph of my water? Or just add to the water to lower the ph?

I just tested my water and its really high at 7.8. Will adding lime to my soil fix this?

I am going to get some last additives for my soil mix to transplant my babies into their permanent pots and im confused about lime! What i basically want to know is can it hurt? I havent ph tested. So I dont know if my soil is good or not. if I add it to already good ph soil can it cause...

What do you guys think about this as far as how to set up my space... this pic shows using the space only for veg, for veg and flowering the adjustable shelf would be near the middle and for only flowering at the bottom.

Yeah... Im not sure how tall im going to let them get before flowering... Good thing to think about! Thank you! I figure if im gonna let them get 30" Then I'll just veg and flower in the full height of the room and swap bulbs back and forth. There really isnt enough room for 2 sections if I let...
