I'm going completely non-organic, but your feeding adjustment for autoflowers still lines up with the general advice I've seen so far: Cut down nutes and feeding in some way. I know there isn't an exact number, but I'll go by the rule of thumb of feeding under and adjust as needed. Thanks.

Kind of late to this thread but for future grows try Autoflower.ca (Canada). Gelato and Northern Lights are good strains for mold and pests. Good luck.

Ok, so the 5g/gal Maxibloom mix has sat for a few hours. I double checked the EC meter instructions again and did another reading. This time 735ppm and EC 1556. Seems to make more sense compared to my original reading.

Hmm, all I can say is that I either 1) have a bad EC (cheap model), 2) it needs to be calibrated (even though it said it was factory calibrated), or 3) I need to re-read the directions. I chose not to add Cal-Mag because I think there is supposed to be a good enough amount of at least MAG in...

My EC meter says that it is factory calibrated, or pre-calibrated. It’s like a $20 EC Meter, so maybe it still needs calibration or something. I was squinting at it and wondering why it said that and figured you all just add your own decimal (first time ever using one).

I’m getting 6.3Ph with just straight tap water and maxi lol, lucky! Only thing I noticed was that 5g/gal set me at 370. So obviously I need to up the ppm accordingly.

So my tap water is 7.3 - 7.7, and with 5g/gal of Maxi it ended up at 6.3! EC 0.7, or 370ppm.

For those wondering what I ended up getting. I went with autoflower.ca. Time to soak and sprout! Thanks for everyone’s input. I’ll be starting a thread/grow log soon for this outdoor auto grow.

From a marketing perspective, if you put “100% Organic” and list the story of these ingredients on the package the organic would probably fetch a premium and sell faster. I’ve even heard of people saying the smoke is way better….anyway.
