Hey guys, I've been growing a seed for about 11 days now. The seed was a random seed, so I'm not sure if it was a male seed or a female seed. However, recently I've noticed small green "hairs" growing out of the splits. Does this mean anything regarding gender??

Yup, I'm using CFLs haha. I'm a little concerned that it might be nitrogen deficiency. Do you think it's possible to use some type of home product or food/drinks to help treat it instead using the stuff you have to buy? Such as some milk distilled down a bit with water?
