    Can I bend a Manifold/Mainline horizontal?

Hi all, I'm attempting my 4th grow and am trying to keep things low and symetrical. Can I bend a mainline/manifold horizontally? Here is an example of my last grow which was topped and bent. (this was not mainlined it was topped and bent) Here is my first attempt at a manifold, I'm leaving...

    The Highest You've Ever Been....

25 year tolerance break, no joke. The last time I smoked before that was the early 90's, but most of my smoking was in the 80's Fast forward to around 2019 and my neighbor let me smoke a bowl of today's "new fangled weed". It hit me hard, and I knew I was in trouble. I excused myself from my...

    Lemon Kush- early pick

I got lemon kush from a dispensery in DC and 8 bong hits later, I was still wondering if I was high. It was the worse weed I've ever smoked and after that experience I wont touch it again. Its probably not a bad strain, but the dispensery ruined it for me. The buds looked amazing too... Maybe...

Is this dust or something to keep an eye on?

Thanks, good tip. Ive heard good things about Diatomacouse earth, maybe I'll try it out. But, a few ants shouldnt be a problem unless they are farming aphids/white flies right? Ants dont carry in aphids do they? (sorry, may be a silly question) So, I'm not worried about the ants, but I am...

Is this dust or something to keep an eye on?

Last thing all. I boiled and baked my Fox Farm soil and bleached and boiled all of my grow equipment this grow just in case pests are living in the soil. (I poured boiling water into Happy Frog soil, baked it until it reached 180 degrees, dried it out with a fan, and then planted with Great...

Is this dust or something to keep an eye on?

I should have taken pictures of the ants, my fault. At most I've seen 1 or 2 at a time on the ground of my grow cabinet. I have not seen any ants on my plants, which worries me. If I have root aphids, they are hard to see unless I take the plant out of its pot (correct me if I'm wrong here). So...

Is this dust or something to keep an eye on?

Yep, thats why I'm looking hard now to see if the ants are after honeydew. So in a way, the ants are helping to show me that I have something bad going on .... Do they ever show up without their farmed friends present?

Is this dust or something to keep an eye on?

I've already done the borax ant thing, but as I said earlier, they keep coming back, which leads me to believe I have aphids, whiteflies or something else hard to detect. If I have aphids or white flies, I cant see them anywhere... That's why I'm looking hard now. If anyone has tips on how to...

Is this dust or something to keep an eye on?

OK, thanks, maybe I'm being a bit paranoid. I've seen flies that are not fungus gnats, ( fungus gnats can be caught/smashed easily, the other flies I've seen are pretty good at getting away.) I've also seen ants mid flower on all of my grows which worries me. Ants are a good indicator that...

Is this dust or something to keep an eye on?

Hi all, I've completed three grows, all of which have been a bit rough mid to late flower. I'm going back to look at pictures to see if I've had hidden pests. I know this picture isnt great, I'll need to work on getting a Micro/Macro lense or sometype of microscope to look more closely. Are...

Where are my Va growers at !!

Hi all, I'm a new grower in Northern Virginia that would love to swap grow samples and just hang out and chat about growing. Anyone up to forming a little Northern Va growers club? I have Durban Poison (3 months into cure) and Northern lights (8 months into cure) samples to pass around. Join...

anybody know what's wrong with my plant?

So, there are a lot of people here that will lose their f ing minds if you mention the word "flush". There are also a lot of people that recommend flushing as a normal part of growing, you'll get a lot of mixed signals. I don't like to flush unless I've made mistakes or something goes wrong...

anybody know what's wrong with my plant?

I was looking at the white spots on your leaves. Have you put them under a microscope or loupe? Anything on your leaves that looks like dust should be inspected. White flies, aphids, and mites can look just like a spec of dust ! The black spots are not good and as someone said it could be a...

anybody know what's wrong with my plant?

Hey, this forum has a lot of good people that can help, but its one of the worst forums due to the high percentage of A holes here. You won't last long here at all if you feed those trolls.. (this forum is the worst-- I'd say 50% a holes...its that bad). Dont entertain them, ignore them and...

High Potassium is not necessary for flowering?

Good topic, I've been struggling with problems mid flower and would bet money that the "Bloom and Bloom boosters Ive been using do more harm than good. This grow, I'll be using Dyna-Grow Foliage pro without bloom at all until week 4 of flower. There was an interview with (Owner/Persident?) from...

    Horizontal growing

I'm in a small cabinet and bend all of my plants horizontal at around week 2-3 of Veg. (exactly like the picture you show). When trained this way, it seems to be easier to keep all of the flowers at equal height. (I top once or twice as well, but may not for my current grow.) Here is how the...
