Easy all, I recently made the switch from a 250w to a 400w HPS and the temperatures in my box were outragous, it burnt my plants, so I've had to make the switch back until my cool tube gets here... What I want to know is, how much will my cool tube reduce the temp in my room from a 400W HPS...

I had a slight problem with nutrients in the veg stages, it's now sorted but I was just wondering if the colour of my leaves will go dark green and look healthy again, or will they stay yellowish? Cheers

Easy all.... My first problem I've got is that I introduced my nutrients in the 4-5th week of veg, however after a couple of days the plants seemed to burn, droop and turn yellow, so I straight away switched back to using pure H2O and I think they're on the road to recovery, but my question...

Im a bit of a newb so please excuse me if this sounds stupid... I've been reading everywhere but cannot find the answer, can you cut bud off a plant and it'll grow back? Or do I have to rip the plant out the soil and start over? Cheers

I've got some 10 day old babies in 24hr CFL light at the minute...my question is when would it be a good time to switch to 18/6 and also how high should I let the plants grow before switching to 12/12 for flowering? (my grow room is 1.8m high) Thanks in advance

Yeah thats what I'm currently using, whic Plagron soil would you recommend for Veg and which one for Flower? Also do you add anything to your soils?

Easy all, I've just put my little girls into 5" pots from their Jiffy Cubes, the pots hold about a litre or so... My question is at what stage should i put them into the big (and final) pots? They're only 5 days old since sprouting at the minute, so I'm guessing I'm a while away yet, but...

It's pretty much impossible to get Fox Farms soils where I live (Europe) so what do you other Euro growers tend to use soil wise? Would be really interested in any combinations and soil brands you guys use...cheers :)

Ah, I was told to use CFL then switch to HPS, is this wrong? Which method would give the greatest yield in your opinion?

I've left my light on whilst the seeds were planted to keep the temperature perfect in my grow environment...they all sprouted fine and are now about 3" tall after 4-5days...They're currently in Jiffy Cubes, should I wait until the roots pop out the sides to transplant or transplant now? Sorry...

Im abit unsure how to tell when to water my jiffy cubes? There sitting in 26 celsius at the minute...cheers

Yeah man, everything was wired fine and working fine, then it just stopped working the next time I switched it on at the wall?! I've emailed to swop the controller, will see what they say... On another note, what is the ideal temperature for the seedlings when they pop up? It's about 30...

Yeah I could wire the fans up to a plug and plug them in, its just i've spent £120 on the controller you see! So could I leave the plants in darkness and they'd sprout? I got told to make sure the temp stays around 26-28 celsius?? Thanks for the reply by the way
