so what type of light would you recommend for the first month of the growing process? cause im going to growing in a closet

Can you grow a whole plant start to finish with just a 400 watt light? or do i need another type of light in the beginning and switch to the 400 watt?

i going to start small and simple with soil plants and i want to use like a dresser or cabinet of some sort look to keep in simple until i master this process
