I'm confused. If you want to control the height all you need to do is LST, and a ScrOG net. You can top pretty far down a plant, and control the height that way as well.

I noticed this in my last grow as well. I transplanted my babe and there's a nice healthy root mass in the bottom of the pot but in between is loose dirt. I bottom feed all my plants. Is there a reason the roots just kind of die in the middle? Too acidic? The main root mass seems really healthy...
