30hrs in, super optimistic about this run. I'm going to ramp down my Rh set point 1% daily.

I have everything in an 8x8 tent which stays around 85 degrees 58rh. During heat waves it's been consistent 92 all day in there and mine held 63 degrees no problem. I bought an eBay 8x8 and put a 4x4 MH and a smaller ebay tent for veg in, along with 2 Koolatrons and all my nutrients. Our...

You can get the 79 Pro controller on ebay for 70$. It has 2 outlets, so I have the Koolatron in one with power on all the time, and the other I have for the dehumidifier that I have toggle on and off depending on humidity. It uses it's own probe sensor also. Great little units for those with...

Thank you! Honestly it's a hobby that keeps me grounded, gives me that feeling of progress when I need it, and I get to give away some of what I enjoy growing. It's much less expensive and dangerous than my motorcycle hobby so the wife doesn't care about my spending lol

Koolatron WC20, Pohl Schmidt dehu just as Hook did. Only difference is I went with a more expensive controller.

I really like the AC Infinity pro 79 controller for wifi. I spent 70 on that, 30 on the dehu, and another 20ish on rack materials. That's all you need. Under 350 is easily doable. I built my first one and decided I wanted one for long term storage, I'm 650 in on 2 of them.

Take a bud out and squish it a bit and smell it. I've found that there's very little smell to mine until I squish them a bit, then they really smell.

I have mine double sided taped to the side like in the pic, but it's parallel to the shelves and just under the bottom of the shelf, so there's space around it. I also make sure to keep buds away from it a little bit. You don't want it touching. I'm using a wifi hygrometer with a smart outlet...

I'm running the Hookatrol also, Koolatron with Pohl Schmitt, a week in. I've always had varying temp and rh being in the Northeast and have been pretty hit or miss with my drying. After a week honestly I can still smell alot of them good scents that you smell on the plant but not after dried and...

Thank you! I wasn't quite sure as to temp, for some reason I keep thinking I should bring it from 59 degrees 63% and ramp it to 68 degrees 58%. It made sense in my mind, but I'll just bring it to 60 and let it sit. Next harvest is well over a month out. Thank you.

Thermoelectric wine cooler drying and curing - DIY

Just wanted to share an update and show some data. Went in Sunday, started with 82% and 60 degrees, ramped it down to here, 67% daily average and 59 degrees. Input and advice are appreciated, I can grow a nice plant but the dry and cure has always been tough for me up in the Northeast. Hoping...

Hey yall. Been lurking on here for over a month, and just wanted to share my progress. Koolatron with the recommended dehu, but I'm using a smart outlet with a wifi hygrometer. I can set humidity range and dehu kicks on and keeps it there. It's EASY to build. I'm ordering another one soon, which...
