I use that just in the center to start germination.. I’m using 50/50 FFOF on bottom FFHappyfrog on top

I try to keep water around 6.5ph.. do you think I should give it some cal mag next watering?.. yeah these are definitely on the small side compared to the other grows I’m seeing, this is my first one

Yeah I ordered some great white, it’ll be here in a few days so that may be perfect timing. How long does it usually take for a bean to crack soil naturally no paper towel germ?

Update pics Day 21!!! 3 days of drying out pots and to the eyes the top soil looks dry but when using 3-in-1 meter soil reads from heavily moist to moist in certain spots of the pot (FASTBUDSD) healthier of the two which is growing new growth by the day .. and the other is still giving readings...

Thanks I added that to my notes and will keep that in mind if I restart or just for future beans.. I don’t have much seed starter only had a small bag with a big bag of FF OF & HF.. I used solo cup amount of the seed starter, so to be clear you’re recommending about 75% of my 5 gallon being seed...

Thanks for your advice! I’m going to let both pots dry out before watering again, and if NYC diesel doesn’t improve then I’ll tear it out and drop another , if I do that I can go right back to this same soil correct? Or should I re pot with some fresh soil and added perlite?
