It's a shame I had so much trouble growing the Frisian Ducks, they look so cool in flowering. Also a single pic of the Frisian Dew. (Any yield estimates on the Dew? I know it's hard to say. It's just looking dense IMO.)

Thanks! I'm around the property all day. I'll attach a photo of the rest of the garden, 99% of it is trees, bonsai trees, seedlings, cuttings, etc. On another note, I had my first experience with budrot. The Sweet Tooth Auto Bonsai had several buds that were affected it seems. I cut them all...

How to keep my super soil for next season

Based on what I've heard, you put it on a tarp, re-amend it with Gaia green and worm castings and a few weeks before you plan on using it again, mix it well and water it a little so it can come back to life.

    High Frequency Fertigation Coco Grow

Damn makes me envious. All the weed harvested from my Sweet Tooth Auto smells like hay. It smells wonderful when ground up and it vapes great, but I wish I had better drying conditions so I could get the terps too. Surprised how much the Sweet Tooths look alike, except yours look happier than...

Going To Build A Grow Room

I would get rid of the silver liner entirely. White paint is basically as efficient and it looks way better.

Bonsai still looking weird with shriveled leaves. Business as usual for the Frisian Ducks and Frisian Dew

    Drying Humidity and Temp

You need to strike a balance. Ideally, you'd try to get the room temperature down below 21c/70f - Because that's when you start losing some of your terpenes to evaporation. But then your humidity becomes way too low. Right? If I was in your situation I'd run the AC to get down to 70f and...

Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

I created an ugly contraption to stop my plants from falling over. The winds are strong so they fell over a couple of times a week, which was annoying. Next year they're going in the ground and I make some better trellis or enclosure for them. Bonsai is looking okay, but attacked by a snail...

Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

It seems like the Frisian Ducks are recovering, or maybe I'm just imagining things. All the sick leaves have fallen off and overall it looks greener. Maybe it's just tricking me. Frisian Dew showing a tiny bit of deficiencies, not worried yet. Early Skunk in the ground looks happy despite no...

Am I too late to defoliate and how much should I take off?

I've defoliated it a bit during veg, but it's not nearly enough. I should have mainlined it but that's a lesson for next year. I believe it's done stretching. The goal would be to limit popcorn buds and make sure the main colas get nice and big and juicy,

Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

Only worth updating the Frisian Dew at the moment. Seems like the stretch is done and it's now flowering. I was wondering if I'm too late to defoliate, and how much I should defoliate? Ideally, I should have mainlined it but that's a lesson for the next grow. But I do want to defoliate it as...

Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

Drying and trimming of the Sweet Tooth Auto is done and got a bag of 55g + extra, so about 70g in total. Not horrible not great. I think the Sweet Tooth Auto is pretty larfy, the buds aren't super dense, and it was annoying to trim. Smokes just fine though! Hope one of the others are more...

Unhappy Frisian Ducks - Third times the charm (Sorry)

Northern lights was actually one of the plants I considered this year, will do it next year for sure. Maybe the wind is the culprit, hadn't really considered it, always felt like more of a nutrient issue somehow. Plausible. I have only really been increasing the feed a lot over the last few...

Thanks for the idea! I think I will keep that as a last resort. Why do you believe that would help them, though? The one that has been in the ground all along is also hating life. I like having them mobile because I will be seeing a lot of rain in fall, so being able to move them into the...
