Unhappy Frisian Ducks - Third times the charm (Sorry)

So I've asked this question three times and the plant just keeps getting worse. I'm sorry if I should be bumping old threads rather than making a new one. I've had this issue since July, first I thought it was a cal/mag issue...

Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

Frisian Ducks are still looking horrible. Seems like it's getting worse. I have no idea. I've been ramping up feeds but they're still just hating life. Open to all ideas, almost. (Not pissing in the pots)

    Drying

Don't worry, you're right. It's only a guideline. If you really wanted to know, you'd need a moisture meter to test the buds with. Then you'd have something concrete to go by. According to the video where the charts are from: this presentation, they talk about how to figure out if buds are...

    Drying

You're welcome, all the drying science is fresh in my mind because I'm currently drying as well at those exact same temps in my furnace room, only place that would work, good luck. I actually made a little calculator just for this, for my own use mostly, because looking up the various VPD's...

    Drying

Both are acceptable but I think technically 65% would be better since you're reaching 75f during the day. 60% is a tad low for 75f, just a tad.

    Drying

You want to raise your humidity when your grow space is hotter. To slow down the drying. But you're not far from acceptable numbers. How to increase your humidity and slow down drying: Don't wet trim your cannabis, leave all the foliage on it and hang it. Wet a blanket or towel and put it...

Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

I'm experimenting with giving my plants a lot more nutrients. Up until now, I had been following this schedule, which is half of regular dosages for all-mix (For instance, normally it would be 1ml/l of Fish-Mix, not ½) I just edited the photo and removed the nutrients I don't use and change...

Back to the boring stuff now that harvest of the Sweet Tooth Auto is over. Frisian Ducks still unhappy for some reason. I keep upping their feed but they don't seem to be responding. They're still green overall but like 25% of the foliage seems unhappy. Frisian Dew is becoming a beast though.

Yessir. Smells fantastic. I did look at all the buds and not a single sign of rot. I will get a better look when I trim it. Now all I have to do is keep the rest of the plants alive until late September, October for the 'real' harvest.

Harvested the Sweet Tooth Auto today, I couldn't wait any longer and I was seeing more and more amber. (You can see it In the photo I attached too. Some amber spread around there. Not anywhere near 30% though.) I planted it on the 6th of May and harvested it today, the 18th of August, that's...

Gotcha, I actually do see a few ambers in the photos now that I've zoomed and looked around, but still not enough. I never expected this grow to take 14+ weeks

Thanks! I'm just worried that I reach a point where the THC starts degrading. That can happen when you flower for too long, or so I've read.

Not at all, I will have to look again. But I'm guessing 1-5% are amber. It's just odd to see the "cloudy" phase last almost a month.

I feel like I can spot a couple of ambers when I look at it with the little magnifying glass, but overall, no. I read that not all auto plants get amber trichomes, but I dunno about this particular strain. https://weedmania420.com/growing/why-are-my-trichomes-not-turning-amber/

Oi, that's good. Yeah, the fattening up was no joke. I kept reading that the most growth happened in the last two weeks and didn't think it would be noticeable. But it sure is. I suspect the Frisian is just extra hungry because flower is starting, will keep a close eye on it tho. I suspect...

Sweet Tooth Auto starting to look pretty sickly. I dunno if it's regular late flowering and if I should be worried or not. Frisian Dew is starting to show some signs of deficiency, more so than normal. Not sure what's causing this. I've started feeding more nitrogen and I've added pellets to...

Frisian Dew, stretching and stems are turning purple, looking forward to seeing the buds. Also showing the trunk of the Frisian Dew, it's not pretty! I had to wire two branches together because I 90% snapped one of them off, it's a "Nearly headless Nick" situation. Some new pictures of the...

Grow journal - Outdoors 2024 - Frisian Dew, Frisian Duck, Sweet Tooth Auto, Early Skunk

I'd be surprised if it was that, they have all been looking bad for a month+ now, and we still have day temps of 20c roughly, I think perhaps the strain is just sensitive or weak in some way, Early Skunk is happy despite growing in the ground in dirt with no nutrients added, Frisian Dew is...
