Cheers for that. Yep, I’m doing autos. I closed over the air flap a bit earlier to try and build up the heat. Waiting on the insulation fella to get back to me tomorrow, fingers crossed I can get it soon. I’m also ordering tubular heater tomorrow. I might look at the pet mats too, can’t hurt to...

Yeah I imagine that’d knock the bill up alright! I just found this, name brand, good reviews and has a built in thermostat and under €20. I might try it. https://www.screwfix.ie/p/dimplex-ecot1ft-wall-mounted-tubular-heater-40w-408-x-81mm/3951f

Cool I’ll look it up, 600watts would be a bit of a drainer over longish periods though

Nice one for that. I was kinda thinking that would be the case. Would the heater go in the tent or outside? Do you know of any heaters that don’t suck the leccy? (If such a thing exists!) Cheers.

Morning Brains Trust. Sorry if I’m hi-jacking anyone’s thread. I’m after advice from people with more knowledge than me! So I’ve got a 160 x 70 x 70 tent in my shed. Said shed is about 14’ x 10’. I just put my seeds into pots yesterday I started off with the lights at 75cm above the the pots and...

I know only one other person that’s starting to grow just like I am, we’ve been mates for over 20 years so I’ve no issue sharing the info with him and vice versa.

Cool, I’ll stick to plastic and up size... I ended up biting the bullet and buying the dimmable Spider Farmer lamp as when I looked into the knockoff it came to the same price incl shipping as the real deal. Should be here in the next few days. I’m eager to get a crop down and harvested by Xmas...

Great I’ll look into them so. What size pots do you grow your Autos in? Mine had been in 10 litre buckets. I was thinking of going down the grow bag route as I saw somewhere that the soil gets better air through them.

Deadly, fair play to you! Do you mind me asking what size room you are growing in with the 4 panels? I’ll be growing in a 70x70 tent

Cheers for getting back to me lads, much appreciated and very helpful. I've spent the last few days looking at lights and fans, my head is melted! 90sStoner, I don't suppose you know the name of your knockoffs do you? I was having a look and wasn't able to find the copies. Monaghanj, I also...

    The Irish Growers Thread!

Hi Folks, back again for some advice if I may trouble you all? So my first ever crop went pretty terrible as I said before. I’ve decided to make a 70cm deep by 100cm wide by 120cm tent and stick it in my shed. I’m gonna use PVC pipe for the frame and aluminium bubble insulation as the cover...

Ball ache is right but I’ve definitely learnt a lot. If I was living on land away from prying eyes I’d have a nice greenhouse with plenty growing on it. I lived in Australia for 6 years and I had a few friends who grew photo periods. Monsters they were!

That’s deadly man, thanks heaps! I check on it every night when I take it in with a magnifying glass and I’ll look into the isopropyl thing too as I have some in the press and if it does start to spread I’ll chop her down. I’ll look up that Freudian too. Great advice thanks again!

Cheers for getting back to me Santiago! So do you reckon I should just chop the whole plant down now and dry it before any more sets in? They seemed to be very small spots this time and do you think that if I cut out the small spots in the top affected colas I can still smoke the rest of said...
