    My first Root is Down

Agreed. In The Cannabis Grow Bible by Greg Green it's recommend not not start the nutrient program until there is a yellowing of the newest leaves. I have started to add silicates to my watering, at the advice of my local garden center.

    My first Root is Down

Day21 VEG Ended up moving the light to 24" and dimmed all the way down to 50%. She's looking great again, color and posture returned. I ended up doing a little more LST and pruned a few of the lower leaves. Response has been good. Had the exhaust fan off for a couple of days now, it's been...

    Light Stress or Deficiency?

Pics from today, leaf color has returned to normal and she's looking great. I'm not seeing any signs of deficiency. According to The Cannabis Grow Bible by Greg Green the nutrient program should not begin until the newest leaves begin to yellow. I thought this would have begun to occur already...

    Light Stress or Deficiency?

I’ll update the thread with more pics tomorrow, but my lady is standing tall(er) and perky today! The leaf color has improved, but still looks a bit off.

    Humidifier Needed ?

I got this one on Amazon that I'm pretty happy with. I'm in a small tent so it works well enough in my environment but I don't know how much square footage you're dealing with. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0046A6WJI?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_pd_title The only thing I don't like is there is a...

    Light Stress or Deficiency?

    Light Stress or Deficiency?

The HLG 260W kit came with the Meanwell HLG-240H driver. It's dimmed down to about 70%. I have a kill-a-watt coming next week that'll tell me more, but the kit is rated at 285W full power. I'm in a 2x2.5' tent. Based on those numbers should I dim it all the way to 50% and raise the light to 24"?

    Light Stress or Deficiency?

Thanks CannaCountry. I've seen droopiness on and off with this girl from the beginning. I really think my watering is spot-on though. I allow the soil to get dry about an inch down and the pot feels light, and then soak it in slowly until there's runoff. Sometimes immediately following a...

    My first Root is Down

Thanks pthobson. Watering, that's exactly what I've been doing- I don't water until it's dry and then soak it in with pH6.5. I may be watering this evening (her tomorrow). Probably a related note the humidifier is being activated more now. Lighting, hopefully raising it to 18" will improve...

    My first Root is Down

Day18 VEG A couple of days ago I began LST. Two days following she was looking great, but today the leaves appear faded and not as green. The past few days the humidity has been near 50% and the humidifier hasn't needed filling. Max temps about 82-85, and the growth has been explosive. Is this...

    Let's talk strains and seedbanks!

There's a whole forum to discuss strains and seedbanks, right here in the site. https://www.rollitup.org/f/seed-and-strain-reviews.43/

    My first Root is Down

Day15 VEG I got my Quantum Board installed. Currently it's dimmed to 50% at 12" from the canopy. The white is so much more pleasant to look at than the blurple. Growth is still going strong. You can see how shaded the lower leaves are in this picture. LST begins in a few days probably.

    My first Root is Down

So I like to think I'm getting to know my plant pretty well. This morning I predicted that the droopiness I witnessed at the end of her day would continue. I was wrong, she's looking great! I'm not making any changes to the light cycle today. I will have the QB installed tomorrow, it'll be...

    My first Root is Down

Yes I know that, I just worry about stressing by watering too little or giving too much light. The drooping seemed excessive at the end of the day, when they were watered that morning.

    My first Root is Down

This morning (just before lights out day13) her leaves were very droopy. I have noticed the droopiness at the end of her day on several occasions, and that it seems worse after waterings. Should I be concerned with this? Are the lights too much? I'm running Mars Hydro Pro Epistar 600 (265watts...

    Best lighting option?

Surprised everyone has recommended the 135W with no mention of the 260W. Flower footprint is 3x3, but I err on the side of having a bit extra. I have a 2x2.5 Gorilla as well, but with the height extension. I caught the 260W on sale last week, it’s replacing a Mars. Looking forward to getting it...

    My first Root is Down

Day 13 VEG Looking great! Temps have been much better. I put the plant on the bucket, and the bucket in the saucer a few days ago. Since then I'd struggled with low temps and humidity. The water in the saucer wasn't evaporating and my humidifier was running dry all the time. I put the saucer...

Upgrading Mars Hydro to QB 288 v2

Right on, I forgot that driver has a dimmer function! That's the way I'll run it then. My current node spacing is about an inch, topped a few days ago. I like your thoughts on hacking the Mars, but the wife only allowed the upgrade when I told her I'd be able to get about $200USD for it. Since...
