    Heat, under, or over watered

One if the reasons it's underwatered is the pot to too small. There's not enough soil around the root zone to retain moisture long enough for uptake to occur.

    My first Root is Down

Thanks for the input BeachWalker. The brown tips are still contained to the three original affected leaves, and they are all rubbing against the tent lining so maybe that's all that is happening. The FoxFarms nutrient schedule calls for three flushes, the first of which is going to be this...

    Seedling fan tip clip

#1. Since it's smaller I want to see if the growth outpaces the larger one.

    My first Root is Down

Day59 VEG Day3 FLIP For the most part everything looks great. The leaves are dark green, hopefully not TOO dark (to indicate excess nitrogen). Three of the leaves have developed some browning on the tips. I noticed it a few days ago- it doesn't seem to be spreading so far. Oddly enough all...

Light output increase at flip- How Much, How Fast?

So do you recommend increasing to 500 umoles at once, or smaller increments each day?

Light output increase at flip- How Much, How Fast?

Three reasons 1. I'm getting an even distribution of light as measured by my PAR meter. Although the tent is so small this is likely a moot point. 2. I'm already at 20" and that distance will decrease quickly with growth. 3. Mostly though I'm paranoid about stressing with the light. Already did...

Light output increase at flip- How Much, How Fast?

Here I am at Day56 VEG, about to switch to 12/12 to induce the flowering stage. I'm in soil, 10gal pot, 2X2.5" tent using HLG 288v2 X 2 as my lights. Currently running at 125W to achieve 400 umoles at canopy level, the lamp is about 24" high. (I have a thread in the Grow Journal forum if you...

    My first Root is Down

Day55 VEG Scroggers unite! Added a SCROG net, removed pipe cleaners I used for LST. I was looking for 2X2" squares and the smallest the store had was 3.5X3.5", it'll have to do. I'm already running into issues with branches I'd like to tuck under. I can supplement with my pipe cleaners or let...

    My first Root is Down

Point taken. I definitely learned my lesson already with taking it easy with the LST next time. I got a bit rough trying to reach the edge of the larger pot. I'll remove both zip ties tonight. I'm also planning on installing the scrog net tonight as well. A second layer is planned during flower.

Day51 VEG Fed yesterday, four days since last watering. Today she's looking phenomenal!

Use different lights throughout the day?

How loud is the LED fixture that the noise would travel through the walls and disturb neighbors? I had a Mars Hydro 600 with two fans- audible sure but not enough to transmit through the walls. I have a 6" extraction fan in one of the rooms in my house. Now that thing is loud especially at full...

Extremely high CO2 readings in my tent

So the CO2 “situation” really isn’t one after all. The dry ice lets off way more CO2 than I thought it would. The closed container in the room made it 1300, and open in the tent the levels were crazy high. If I decide to start messing around with dry ice again I’m going to work with much smaller...

    My first Root is Down

Day47 Veg WOW this is an immediate improvement from the transplant last night. The transplant was to a ten gallon. The roots were already wet since the previous transplant was just last night. It was a risk, but I wanted to take immediate action. I figured it's better to stress her now rather...

    My first Root is Down

Day46 VEG Mar07 There was an immediate improvement from the transplant. Not great... but a significant improvement. However the five gallon increase was nothing. The five gallon from a three gave more depth, no diameter. Today I transplanted to a TEN gallon. No pictures after the...

    My first Root is Down

Day45 VEG Wow I haven't updated in awhile. She's been struggling for about a week now, since Day39 Feb28 (there was a temperature drop that day, but temps were restored quicly) Today and yesterday she looks better than she has been since. I still have a lackluster color in the leaves- I've...

Extremely high CO2 readings in my tent

Lot of great information there, thank you. I'm going to take some readings in other places in the home with the meter I have. I've also begun looking for another to borrow, but I think the results may be valid as the Titan controller gave similar results. A little about my home- the land was a...

Extremely high CO2 readings in my tent

I have a small tent (2X2.5) with an HLG light, an electric ceramic heater, electric humidifier, and of course a small electric fan. My 6" exhaust vents out of the roof, I run it sixteen seconds every five minutes to help maintain temperatures of about 77d and 55%. The intake is 4" (no duct fan)...
