You really owe it to yourself to get some COBS and toss those POS MARS lights. You put too much time and effort into your grows to not upgrade. You will be amazed at your return in growth. I am just finishing up a run of Blue Dream myself so believe me when I say you NEED to upgrade :)

1.5lbs off of a 400w? Thats pretty damn good if it happens. Very impressive. I am anxious to see what I yield. Not an optimal grow this time around for me, but good to get back into it.

I have not used coco, but have you checked the moisture level after a day? Feeling them 1 gallon is fine, but they may not need it daily. Plants, soils, coco, it all varies greatly and what works for one person/environment/plant may not work for the next. I would think that 1 gallon every 2...

But you diminish when you raise the lights too..... Which is why properly spaced out COB lighting is a must.

How is there a drop in PAR when lowering the lights? Maybe the footprint, but any QUALITY light should be able to good to go at 12-18" from canopy. 21"+ should not be required.....

Why does everyone want to run partial power during flower or raise the lights? Run your lights as low as possible. 21" is pretty high IMO. I am running 600w in a 4x4 of CXB3590 about 12-16" above the canopy. This is my second run with LED and I have never had an issue with "light burn"...

Gotcha.... I just assumed a 200w part as the OP stated that the cobs would run just under 50w and there were 4 of them in the build package. Why not go with the 200w @ that point anyways and drop the kit by $10? There is really no need for a 250w if you are running 4 @ 50W.
