Water then transplant? You want to transplant and then wate!r otherwise if your soil is wet your rootball will break up.. Also if the pot is new, I don't see any reason in disinfecting it. I just hose them off and throw them in the wash with only hot water and re-use.

That second picture, which has more amber, is clearly a sugar leaf and not a calyx. You can see the first and third pictures show mostly undeveloped trichs and white hairs, and are pics of calyxes. And by the other pics, showing the blurple lighting etc... the plant looks overfed with veg nutes...

That's actually impressive to grow with 1 cfl bulb. I would say a few more weeks. Yes you can cut the top bud off first and let the bottom ones finish up.

Those look like they will pack on some fat knockers by the end. Easy trim job too. They have developed nicely in 12 days since flip imo.

I mean if it's just a little bit of runoff sure that's fine. It will suck back up the bottom within minutes. When I hear runoff I'm thinking like excess water that has to be removed or drained, which there is no point in doing that with dry amendments and soil. It wastes microbes and nutes doing...

How did clone cuts in the fridge work out? I've never heard that before. Looks like it works from a quick search. I have never bought rooting hormones or cloner systems and always just put them in water or even straight into soil with high success. It just takes longer the old school way.
