Any soil with a lot of woodchips is devoid of life. Get one that is peat based, dark and rich with organic amendments.

Thanks, I started them too early - in March. Lesson learned for next year. I think you're good on fire season, I don't think it will rain ash like last year. We've had a very dry spring so not much vegetation in the Sierras to catch on fire.

I fimmed my Gorilla Zkittlez auto 4 times as an experiment and I will never go back to letting autos grow normal. It's doing so much better than my untrained autos. The auto breeding has really come a long way from Lowryders.

Yea I germinate indoors now. Much faster initial growth and zero chance of bug issues. Some photos just popped today to put outside in July.

Tried that by germinating in March, they were seriously stunted. I'm sure it's ok for photos though, just a slower start.

That's going to be quite hot with little airflow. Hope they hang in there! I'm also using this year as a test run to see what strains handle my climate.

First grow in a decade for me, I used to run Lowryders back in 2009 and wanted to see how far autos have come. Gotta say it's impressive so far. My goal was start in March with autos, have them finish in July and put out photos. Gotta stay under the 6 plant legal limit but want 2 harvests...

What are your night temps? I have the same issue and a kelp foliar on the new growth has helped. Mine was caused by low night temps + overwatering locking out zinc or iron.
