CXB3070 AD bins are going for $32.50+shipping from Jerry @ Kingbrite. They are I believe 48% efficient.

First build I used CXB3070. I am ordering CXB3590 this time around though. While its expensive, you do save on energy cost (about $50/month for a 1k HPS) so I save $25/month and double the yield. Works out in the end plus higher quality.

$325 is price per light (200w total output @ 56% efficiency) for the CXB3590. CXB3070 at the time were a bit more, but I also used active cooling which cost $25 per light. So really, they cost about the same. This includes all my costs, including shipping.

Yup, my 185-C1400 pull 1.8 @ 120v as well from the wall. That is normal. If you have 4 - 36v COBS wired up, they will draw 1.4A each. You have to remember that you are powering them from the driver, not the wall. Power draw will be a bit different as the driver converts the power.

50% amber @ 43 days? Are you sure you are not looking at the tips of the sugar leaves? Make sure you look inside the bud as the sugar leaves will show amber @ 6 weeks and very strong amber by week 7.
