Got an email from Jeff. New boards will ship in the next few days. He attached a picture of the new boards. Like that means anything. But here they are. I'm going to build another 4x4 light to place on the other side of the 4x8 tent. I'll post PPFD results from both sides.

The aluminum angle keeps it rigid but it does have a little bounce to it. I got the thinnest angle they have at Home Depot. If I was to do it again I'd get the next size thicker. Hmmmm. It was easy to drill though.

Another interesting point I made earlier that might have slipped by....my Photon Fantoms have the dot and appear to be like these verified NOT Lm561C diodes. Is PF selling the wrong diode?

This was the basis for my optimism that they were indeed LM561C. The guy is looking to sell to a reseller and pulls this? I would have paid more for legit LM561C so he didn't need to do this. What we really need is a thread stickied with verified diode macros.

For the sake of comparison, here is a pictureI just took of the diode from a Photon Fantom sunboard. Can we assume that they are authentic lm561c Samsung LEDs? I think we probably should. They look like the ones I have. So I'm not sure what the whole "dot" thing means for the real/fake debate.
