Weird deficiency on 2 out of 3 plants.

Yeah good height for a 400W but... So my situation is a 600W HPS and a number of times this occurs with me. Fading on top, lower leaves or leaves not in direct light are a healthy green. Everything going fine and around the end of the 4th going into the 5th week of flower the fading is starting...

How close is your light to the top of the plant?

    Too late to top?

Look into LST rather than supercropping a much better practice without all the stress injuries and damage to the plant. Scrog is a great way to go

Grow-Sil for silica, is it any good?

Any studies I've found on silica kinda state the opposite of what your saying. It is beneficial in hydro and should be supplemented and soils will be depleted with heavy use. All living things utilize silica including people. True a plant in hydro will grow without it but the point being made...

    Please help with Hermaphrodite decision

Agree, light leaks are over rated. Buy good genetics, grew weed on my deck for years in front of a window with a lamp on the other side turned on 24/7 never once got a hermie. I have lots of light leaks with my inside grow again No hermes...it's mostly a genetic issue.

CALCIUM PROBLEMS OR JUST BURNED ?

Cool, hope you get it worked out then and like Failmore said let it veg out before you start clipping leaves they are the very things that produce energy for the plant. It will drop leaves on it's own if they are not producing from catching light and full grown leaves will produce far more...

CALCIUM PROBLEMS OR JUST BURNED ?

Do you know what your soil PH is at or how hot your soil mix is? With soil grows your a lot less likely to get a deficiency because of something the soil is lacking. What most contributes to deficiencies is the roots inability to draw up nutrients do to an acidic or high alkaline medium which...

    mariowarner's #1 (yellow leaves/white spots/pointing down)

Lol yeah ok that sounds better but adding ferts directly into the soil is still going to make it hot for a while and worm castings can do the same. Your plant looks exactly like my first grow which I believe was NL#5 fat thick limped leaves with yellowing and necrosis and I went thru hell trying...

    Possible deficiency super soil

Archaic method of growing, no other form of horticulture employs the method of defoliation yet in the world of cannabis this is very popular for what ever reason is beyond me...Why strip the very things that produce energy for the plant!

    mariowarner's #1 (yellow leaves/white spots/pointing down)

You might want to do a PH test on your run off to see where your soil is sitting at (use a digital meter) if you added worm castings (vermicompost) and 30% dry nutes? ( your saying 30% of your soil mix is dry or powdered nutrients) if I understand that right your soil is smoking hot and you have...

    Flushing to prevent nutrient lockout

That is the norm (twice the amount of your pot size) and it should be fine tho it does stress them a bit and packs the medium but if your concerned of over feeding give it a go. Next grow you could stop the feed and just give them straight PH'd water a week or two before flower so they use up...

Grow-Sil for silica, is it any good?

If your using fresh soil each time then as Lordhooha said it would have enough already but you are correct about silica needed in soil especially if you reuse your soil or have a type of super soil because it will deplete over time. I can't give you much feed back on AgSil-16H but I do use...

2nd grow Gamma Berry Dark horse genetics

Good job on the silica not a lot of people know or care about it especially when growing in soil but it does help in the plants cell structure for stronger healthier plants that will support bigger buds....works great as a PH UP as well but you can over do it so be careful. Cheers!

    Yellowing @ week 5 . Every time.

Yeah they ended up doing fine and I got pretty decent yields but the fading only seemed to be the top portion of the plant (wish I had some pics) but the lower canopy (because I Never use the practice of lollipopping) was still healthy and green I determined this had to be environmental. My...
