I like the woods too! If the local highschool wasn't right beyond those woods this would be a great outdoor grow spot. Exactly why I didn't spray any leafy greens or anything with fruit already on them - our jalapenos will be spicy enough on their own w/o the insanity sauce.

Mine were seriously constricting airflow at 18 months so I replaced them then. Probably depends on filter size, whether you're cleaning the pre-filter pad thing, etc...

I have not, however my reservoir is 15gal and for my rig I use a 1/10hp model so still pricy, but not quite the cash outlay for a 1/2hp. AC may be a more realistic option for me once I'm not growing in a metal filing cabinet anymore though!
