Any one have or know of any reliable ppm and ph meters? Not too expensive please but still reliable and somewhat long lasting, and ph up or down liquids... also do you really need that magnifying glass to see when it’s done flowering? If so, any that won’t hurt my pocket?

Hey guys, starting my first grow soon and decided on hempy buckets hydroponic!!! So I have a 4x4 tent, I’m thinking 4 or 5, 5gallonbuckets, I will be using only perlite as my medium, with a block, led lighting, my real question because maybe it would be different for other people growing in...

I’m going with big bud from sensi seeds, allegedly they don’t grow too much... figure I can veg maybe a maximum of 2 feet... maybe the most it will double to 4 feet, and my tent is 6’7 so I think it will be okay... hopefully

Thanks, yeah... many people have said both megacrop and jack321 are both efficient and work really well... plus cheap and manageable... do you still use cal mag and Epsom salt with it?

Do you think it would work well with the perlite only medium?

I would balance the water with the Nutes before I pour it over the block... any brands you think would give really good results, a lot of people have told me since I’m starting out, the jack321 is pretty basic and easy to manage...

Interesting... I was thinking how that would go with the transplant only because it’s perlite and not soil... I was just thinking using the block and just put it in the 5 gallon after the roots look healthy and somewhat long enough

Nice!!! Definitly will look into it... I was looking at another one but it was like 60 bucks... but 15 is way better lol it’s only for transferring once a day for a few minutes, shouldn’t give me too much trouble...buying 5 seeds, if all 5 pop then I’ll have 5 buckets 5gallons

Nice, I’ve heard it’s more efficient than soil, and pretty simple, hoping to get a good grow although I realize it’s my first grow but I will try to pay attention to all details

I was thinking buying a cheap pump where I can suck the left over water and flush down the toilet... I don’t really want to elevate the buckets because then I have to switch sooner due to height
