I just can't tell if it's harvest time

well, i see amber, clear, and cloudy. Its strain dependent for sure, the way it will ripen that is. You dont want more amber than cloudy and there may always be clears developing to some extent until it reaches past optimum maturity. but obviously use YOUR judgement, and maybe run this strain...

    Mushroom colonization and yeild

fresh air exchange is a must. As in, dont cover the fruiting chamber holes up when pinning/fruiting and air stones in a cup of water help. I notice a leap from yielding many skinny caps to a few large/thicker caps and in turn bigger yield that is also easier to clean.

-boring 'ol 230w 154lm/w led strip build

i'd still use the most appropriate heatsink for the situation. those 2" ones are hardly expensive and will let those lights last forever. The 2" u-channel is only 25$ and with free shipping on ebay. just cut it into 5 pieces for 5 of those strips. They're like 17" in length. or get two for ten, etc.

    power factor of inline fans

hey guys, not that this is really a big deal to anyone, but i was wondering if anyone ever adds an AC capacitor bank to their inline fans to reduce the reactive power. I would assume i just add a cord to some 240-480vac caps in parallel and plug it in the outlet that the fan is on. Just watch...
