It was really simple. I ran the telephone cord in tandem making them both remote, then to the controller. I ran both ballast to a dual timer that is set to on and then plugged it into a smart plug. The timer was just for a dual plug. I only had to make one setting since they are working...

Before I start looking, any recommendations to water 15 gal smart pots? I average 3 gal each every 3rd day. Then there's the 7 gal plastic. That one gets a gallon.

That's my next priority. I have a family trip coming g up that I need to make sure everything is auto. Now that I have the controller I'm hoping I can water using it.
