BTW, I use DR Earth 5-5-5 for veg...wish I had sprung for the bloom formula too, but I wasn't sure it would work as well as it did...it blew me away!

I just want to say just how much I love DR Earth products, they may not be cheep, but for my money it's the only way for me to grow...it has everything a plant could need and no burning...no matter how much you use...anyone else use this great stuff???

As long as lights are not directly on them, you should be OK...anything more than 14 hr will keep them in veg. with direct light.

Yes! it would be.....all these people are giving great advice..but not great for a beginner...the rule of thumb is....KISS...keep it simple a 400 watt hid can produce around 12 oz in 4 months...when you know what your doing...get your feet wet and keep it simple for now and learn from your...

Personally, I do not grow under 24/0 ...20/4 is the most I would give for the first few weeks then 18/6 for flower with Autos...just my humble opinion...I'm old school though and believe plants need some rest...many will disagree.

DAMN!!! I must be slow...got almost 10 hours in on the top half of one plant ...3 to go...I really hate trimming, the house stinks so bad that I need to go outside every hour for fresh air...but I so love it when all the work is done and the cure is good.

I set my lights to be as close to the daylight hours when I plant in early May...so around 15 for me...that way they don't get confused... I have never had any problems with flowering early then reveg this way
