I'm thinking of changing it. If you use shower drains in the bottom of the tote directly under each plant, then have a long enough length of pipe back to a main res, the roots could be in the tube. Plants could be as close as you want with out tangling them.

"Old air" to me is air in the root area that has used the 02 and requires expelling. Then the fresh air in is loaded with 02

I've been putting all sticks and leaves and root masses in a plastic 55 gallon drum. The drum has a removable top that reseals. The material composts rapidly with heat from sunlight. And it can't be seen or smelled. Good luck.

I was wondering why I had that smell/taste when I trim heavy when wet. (Its what friends said to do). So I'm going to do more trimming dry and see what happens. Thanks for that info!

Very true. Start the next batch. It will take time to dial in dwc from your past setup. Ph is very important in dwc. Might be other factors and not co2.

I myself am trying to find info on what a plant looks like with low co2. I might be in that boat.
