I agree, but, they have customer service that pushes them ahead I feel. Mistakes happen and they fix it and make it better thn just making it right. For an extra 200 - 500 bucks, I know years down the road I can contact them when I’m having issues, and they’re gonna fix it, no questions asked...

I got my bluelab ph controller on eBay used for 100 bucks. Works great and the seller even put the probe in the container with liquid in it. I’ve gotten wicked good stuff off eBay.

I took a 16 ga. extension cord with no ground and cut it on the ends. If you have a 2 port wago connector, put it on the driver side. The other side near the light has the T connector. Just unscrew the fitting. When you open it you’ll see 2 wires with different colors going into screw clamps...

How are you pulling that much power? No built in dimmer, but have a cord for one, not hooked up though.

You know what’s weird? When I started the light up it started at like 220 watts and slowly went up to 238 watts after a minute.

I did, it doesn’t have that rubber piece anywhere. I know what you’re talking about. It does have the the cable for a dimmer coming out of the driver. I will buy one eventually for it lol

I ended up making the cord just over 5 ft. It powers 238 watts now. Good looking out and thank you for the help. Thank you everyone for the advice!

The wire into the strips are 14 gauge not solid cut in half and put in. The cable o cut is 14 gauge too. That would be great if you could find out if it’s not enough, thank you.

From the leds to the driver my cord is like 12 feet long so I can put the driver anywhere. I was wondering if that could cause it.

I’m using a meter I bought from Amazon. Tells me watts amps and a couple others.
