That's why I said "while maintaining most of their output" i.e. > 90% or better. I would suspect closer to 100,000 hours of actual operation under typical grow room conditions, with the COB's being under driven and actively cooled.

If 10" - 12" spacing of COBs, you should get between 25 - 36 sq ft. of coverage depending on heighth above canopy.
