I recently repotted from 3g buckets into 7g smart pots, about 10 days ago. I am starting to see the roots coming through the bottom and sides. Am I supposed to prune these or just let them roll? Thanks.

Well...right...but the entire point of joining these forums and asking questions is learning from others. When people ask "should I top my plant" "is my plant too tall" "are my nutrients ok" and the response is "depends on your strain" well you're just creating more questions not an answer.

I do believe that is a phosphorus deficiency not calcium. Calcium deficiency is tiny little brown dots.

I say top that shit. It looks rather sativa (long skinny leaves) so I wouldn't suprised if that thing wants to stretch and get huge.

What is the build up caused by?

Trying to find some information on how this works but no luck so far. I've heard here and there that FFOF has salt build up issues but I'm not exactly sure what this means. Can anyone elaborate on how and why this happens? I've seen white build up on the holes at the bottom of my buckets and...

The thing that seems consistent to me after reading these threads, is that these nutrient deficiencies are usually a result of something with the soil, not actually the lacking of the nutrient in the soil.

Of course. The most standard methods are probably using string to tie it down. I'll drill a hole in the side of my pot to use. You can also top your taller plant multiple times while the other catches up.

How often are you watering? Does your soil/nutrients come with a solid supply of nitrogen? Is there ventilation setup for the tent to get good airflow? It looks underneath your pot is wet.

Duration? Seeds or clones? Light and medium used? How tall do they get?
