ill look into it, if im using the honey can i put it into soil. or should i use the honey and water and wait for some roots to show first?

yesterday i cut a 6 1/2- 7 in. stem off my plant. im trying to just water clone it. without any root paste/gel/powder. so from what i read; this is what i made. i duct taped a water bottle so no light could get in, cut all the leaves off but 2 sets at the top, trimmed the tips off the bottom 2...

so i cut all the leaves off besides 2 sets at the top... duct taped a waterbottle so no light could get in and put the stem through a cup top with a hole in it. trimmed the tip of the leaves off. and hope to see some roots in a couple days...

i just put it outside to see if they'd open up its 84 outside, not even close to that in the gbox.

could it be that there just like this cause i trimmed some main roots? and it'l be fine when some grow back?

it was perfectly fine, my roots were browning so i cut some of them off (they were getting whit at the bottom where the were spreading out)in case of root rot. idk if that was the real reason, but last time i posted about this people said it was drowning? because my medium is soil... and thas...

about that bubbler, i have a bubbler for my dro. if i put my new clone i just cut into a setup with the air pump init will that help sprout roots?
