I would top at least once even when growing outdoors since the top might get very fat if yo don't top. This might be a problem depending on humidity/rain/morning dew in late flowering, rot is your enemy outdoors. Big fat buds tend to start rotting faster if you ask me, they take longer to dry...

If you are pulling 20oz every 8 weeks in horizontal, why the hell change methods??? What strain would this be? I thought horizontal was slower 'cause all the screen has to fill up in flowering tent before switching to flower.

Dosen't matter what you did, the first 14 days of the plant's life, it feeds on the round leave. I don't think it can absorb nutrients yet. Are you keeping them in a warm humid area? That would help speed things up...and no need for a 600w yet!

Yea those plants desperately need more water, I think he is afraid of over-watering.

Give em heat, make those cubes sweat a bit, those little tap roots will love that! Think of it as hatching your little babies. If you can make it like 85F or like 28C they will love it and grow fast.

By the sounds and looks of it, I would say you are letting them dry up too much in between watering. The balls could be due to light leak during dark hours or the stress of drying up all the time. How much water per plant do you give them when they do get water?

28 to 30 celsius is too high and pH of 6.3 is too low for soil. You should have your pH around 6.7 when you water but I think the bigger issue here is heat and lack of air movent...get a fan. Make sure you have lots of air circulation between the tops and the light and find a way to keep temps...

For the best cure if you ask me, your container has to be filled to the top and air tight. I use large clear rubbermaid containers so I can see my hygrometer reading through the container. When my reading is around 60% and stays there for a day, I jar everything up in mason jars for two weeks...

Maybe for the 12-12 cycle you can setup your timer to be on at night during the cold hours to help keep temps somewhat constant. Get and electric heater as a backup if you don't have baseboard heaters. My 600w heats up the room it's in nicely during winter. It helps to have a small room...less...
