I would flip asap if its only a 1.7m , Try to spread the canopy out as much as you can rather then let it grow upwards. It doesnt look like you will run out of room but its always nice to play it safe.

I've never had to wait for pre flowers to show. Keep in mind the height of your plants vs. the height of your tent. Expect the plants to double in height throughout the flower cycle then make calculations as to when you will need to flip the lights.

You may be growing optimum for your conditions. But your conditions are not optimum. I dont see why you dont understand this... Its not a hard concept to grasp.

A plant surviving and a plant thriving are two different things. I can keep a plant alive in 40F environment. And Im sure I could flower it. However I'd expect my grows in 75F environment to produce up to 150% more yield.

So what your basically saying is that If you grew 2 cutting from the same plant in different temps.. To me thats kind of a trade off... you may slow the mites down but now you maybe possibly have to deal with wind burn.. He's only a week away from pull down so i dont see a big point in trying to deal with them as aggressively as a fan directly on them 24/7.
