It seems every time I change the water in my DWC bubbler my nice white roots get stained by the color of the new water and they seem less vibrant (not as rigid). After a 2 or 3 days I start seeing new white roots and before the next water change everything is white again. I never notice anything...

I realized that my roots were drying out. They were too far from the water, they were fine in the hydroton when I was top feeding. When they left the net pot, bubbles were too far below,that's when the tips dried up and turned black. I raised my water level, roots like it now.

I have 25 ml of gh grow, 17 ml of gh micro and 8 ml of gh bloom + 20 ml of Aquashield per 4 gal. Too strong for seedlings maybe?

Should I worry if my seedling roots that are about to touch the water(now being tickled by the bubbles) are turning black on the very tips? Maybe like not even 1/8'' of the tip is black, the rest of the root is nice and white.

I grow in with a DWC system and i see the same thing with mine right now. When the second set of leaves came out and the plants started picking up growth speed. I think it might be a side effect of fast growth. But that's just my opinion.

I did all that + added aquashield to my mix, still working on getting more air stones but I already have a bendable one in each 5 gal bucket. The plant that has root rot is still very small, her tap root rotted off but she does not seem affected by the root damage. She is growing more roots.

what is the best way to cure root rot in a DWC bubbler, SM-90 + H202 or just plain aquashield or something else?

How big can you grow a plant in a bucket with 3.5 gal of water. Can it out grow the bucket?

I'll post progress again in a week. I have them under a 600w MH at dimmed at 50%, I'll leave it there until I see third node. I'll go at 75% for third and 100% at 4th node.
