I think the Boogie Brew does actually qualify as a compost tea, it's labeled as a "compost tea fertilizer" on the bag anyway. It has humus as the main ingredient, which is all you're really after in using compost if I'm not mistaken. I think the evaporated cane juice crystals are the food source...
