    Organic remedy for fungas gnats?

Yellow stickies and an extra day or two between waterings did it for me this season outdoors, knocked the population back enough for the predators to balance em out again

Yessir! The soil mix I went with this year is definitely a little too weak for how long they were out there for. Top dressed the other day and gonna give nute tea + SST in the next day or two. It may not follow the same behaviors as budworms which burrow into the buds and eat from the inside...

    Darn Powdery mildew

I use greencure (potassium bicarbonate) and will be using LABS for the first time this season to see what it can do for PM. Also, if you can, get rid of the PM on that tree nearby, I remember on youtube hearing that this guys greenhouse was getting PM and it slowed down or stopped completely...

Still finding seeds popping up here and there. I have 0 clue how bad the extent of the pollination is. Generally ive only found more than 1 seed per node twice and the others are ranging from one seed a plant to a few dozen on some others. I've been plucking them out with tweezers when I see...

I did add silica and dolomite lime in which helped with the pH a little, but by this point is was going way longer than the window of time I usually brew in. You are totally right though, im sure it would have been just fine to feed as it was, I dont usually bother with pH but I got a new meter...

Quick nutrient question - I feel like things are getting pretty light in terms of P-K on some of the plants and I want to give them a little bit of a boost. I dont have any complete dry amendment mixtures like mr.bs or gaia green but I do have kelp meal (1-0.1-2), alfalfa meal(2.5-0.5-2.5)...

    Seeds on my plant

Dealing with the same thing. Haven't noticed any herms even though I keep looking. Not impossible that an outside source could be pollinating the plants, not impossible that I just cant see any male flowers. Found at least 1 per plant, a dozen and a half the most on one or two of them. One of...

Is this the beginning of bud rot?

Budworms brother, BT sprays can help with the actual presence of the cats but like thumper said, cut it out clean the area. Only thing you can do about rot once its there is remove it and move on. You know your source of whats causing it, manual hunting the budworms is the best way to go about...

Currently working on making a detachable pvc structure I can throw a tarp over.. comes out to like 7-10$ worth of supplies per plant, just gotta drop height down on the pvc posts then the plan is secure it to the bamboo to create that roof slant shape and then stake the tarp down all around

What kind of rot is this?

Update on the rot situation Spread to a total of 5 plants now, 2 cases in the past week. Every single plant looks great, I've been treating with h2o2 once a week and its stopped spreading once cleaned but leaves behind nasty scars. I think I may have found the source of whats causing this to...

    Help plant is sick

I had a plant last year with borers, didnt even really notice until mid flower where stems started to rot at the knuckles. It barely made it to harvest. This year I have borers in my OG, atleast 6-8 holes up and down the stalk/stems. I sliced, I probed, I poked with needles, none of that helped...

Does the wilting side of the plant get the most sun? I follow this guy on instagram named nuggynic, dude grows unbelievable plants.. Remember seeing a post about one of his doing the same half wilt thing. Im not 100% sure if he got it in order or not but theres a pretty decent discussion about...

Hey if anything would be cool to do a breeding experiment with pre harvested pollen on vegging plants next time to intentionally try to get the same result as what happened here accidentally. Wouldnt have to deal with accidental pollination doing it at wk3-5 or dealing with 100s of seeds when...

Finally going into some cooler temps coming up, everything looking alright. Really excited to see all this flowering action going on. 7/11 plants so far. Last year had a sativa that was looking to be a mid November finish, ended up pulling the plant due to rot/PM, didn't make it to the...
